Grid costs are part of the total charging costs. Would be nice if the user can get those either automatically through your database based on country/region or specify those manually. Grid costs = price per KWh x consumtion. This should be a rather simple thing for you to implement :-)

In norway we have to pay powerline cost in different timeframes. Das and night. Would bei good to have this in the calculation in, top.

Hi Plamen, it seems that there are quite some things going on in Norway to move towards a new net tariff structure.
Some information on this is published by the Energy companies' join initiative called: Diggin
See: diginenergi.no/om-digin/.
It seems that some of this information will be available through the Nettariff API: diginenergi.no/hva-gjor-vi/nettariff-api/
Which we will further investigate.
If you happen to know more on this and the upcoming changes in 2022, feel free to share!
Best

Hi Plamen, thanks for your suggestion!
In the situations we have encountered, the grid costs are often included in the electricity tariff on the bill from the supplier.
May I ask you about some specifics; for which country and for which type of rate would you like to see this?
Plamen
Good morning Nick! Thanks for fast response 😊
Here in Norway the supplier of power and grid invoice separately. In my private case I use Tibber and calculated charging costs show only the commodity part. Grid costs are fixed at 44.80øre/kWh, but not taken into account by Jetlix in the overview for charging costs. I think manual option would have been great, those costs are regulated and hardly change

That makes things a lot clearer, thanks! Just to be sure: the tariff you have from Tibber, is that a dynamic rate or Fixed/Peak, Off-Peak rate?
Plamen
It is a spot rate (dynamic). Since pricing mechanisms are so different across countries for both commodity and grid it would probably make sense to make this a manual adjustment for the user in case u are interested in implementing such a function. For the case of Norway this grid cost is flat every hour and day of the year. For the moment at least 😅

Good idea! We'll keep you posted on this!
